Based in the Solent area area of Hampshire; we have developed close ties with the local marine industry. Our watertight cases and kegs are found on craft all over the globe including cruise liners, luxury yachts and racing yachts.

As a major supplier of storage containers to educational institutions, nationwide; our advisory service to our educational customers is based on years of experience finding the best possible solutions for various learning environments.

Our History

Established in 1928, Solent Plastics is owned by Stanley Butcher & Sons Ltd. For many years, the business concentrated on the bakery and pharmaceutical industries. With the advent of new regulations from the EU governing plastic products and food preparation, Stanley Butcher & Sons Ltd. was the first agent in the UK to offer a wide range of polythene containers & associated products.

Trading as Solent Plastics since 1972, we import and supply to all industries, with despatches every working day to customers across the UK and worldwide.

Delivery

  • We despatch same day whenever possible
  • We use next day courier and pallet services to enable us to provide the most cost effective and speedy delivery service

  • You can also click and collect stock items, same Day, from our warehouse
